'Presentations' is the place for you to find an extra special
gift for a relative, friend or colleague. We provide a new unique
gift idea that makes use of the vibrant and colourful designs
and embellishments from traditional calligraphy to produce individual
gifts, certificates and greetings for the special people in your
life.
Our aim it to produce a unique and individually tailored gift
that will be treasured for many years to come by its recipients.
Using the finest quality papers and artists materials your
gift will be produced and supplied in a presentation folder along
with care instructions and a certificate of authenticity.
How a Presentations certificate is produced
Certificates and documents created on the Presentations web site
all come from original artwork based upon traditional designs.
The borders, capitals and embellishments have all been created
specially for the Presentations web site and will not be found
anywhere else.
Presentations products are created using a wide range of components
which have been hand drawn by presentations staff. Once they
are completed they are scanned onto a computer ready for use.
When a certificate is ordered the customers will have chosen
a border style, general colour configuration and greeting, or
specified an original greeting of their own. The presentations
artist will use these choices to create the certificate.
Depending on the level of service chosen the certificate will
be assembled from a combination of both pre-painted components
and unpainted components.
The greeting is arranged within the border with important items
such as a name or occasion being given prominence. Once the arrangement
is correct and balanced principle capitals are added. These will
usually be associated with the important items again such as
name or occasion but may also be added to other parts of the
greeting such as the word 'Congratulations' or 'Award' or an
anniversary such as '50'.
Once the greeting is complete and balanced embellishments are
added. These usually take the form self contained items such
as corner enhancements, letter supporters, and word enhancers
designed to draw attention to important text.
Some certificates will be set against a background image in keeping
with the style of the certificate. The 'Romeo and Juliet' sample
on the examples page is a good demonstration of this effect.
Once the certificate is arranged it is printed using a high quality
professional printer onto a textured paper. Any components that
requires hand painting are then painted if required gilded using
22 carat leaf gold. Finally the certificate is checked for errors
and quality and carefully packaged for shipping. Fully printed
certificates are gently rolled and shipped in card tubes. All
painted certificates are shipped flat within their own folder
and include care instructions and a note of authenticity.
 Because we aim
to produce original certificates each time the artist creating
a certificate needs a degree of flexibility in the design. This
is why when ordering a certificate the customer does not choose
the all the components themselves. However in the near future
we do hope to be able to offer a selection of pre-designed certificates
for you to choose from.
